WordPress integration

If your website runs on WordPress, the recommended setup path is the official plugin flow.

#Recommended path (non-technical owner)

Use the Coffield.io - AI Chat Agent plugin.

1. In WordPress admin, install and activate Coffield.io - AI Chat Agent.
2. Open Settings -> Coffield.io.
3. Connect your Coffield.io workspace (follow on-screen prompts).
4. Save settings and verify the chat bubble appears on your site.

This is the default owner workflow.

#Important

• You should not need to manually edit theme files for normal WordPress setup.
• Manual script-tag installs are a fallback for advanced/custom environments only.

#What if I use a basic theme and common plugins?

That is the standard case. The plugin path is designed for typical WordPress sites where owners prefer settings-based setup over theme code editing.

#Troubleshooting

#The bubble does not appear

1. Confirm the plugin is active.
2. Confirm workspace connection in Settings -> Coffield.io.
3. Clear WordPress/site cache and CDN cache.
4. Verify no script-blocking plugin or CSP rule is preventing the widget from loading.

#I was told to paste a script in header.php

For WordPress, the correct first recommendation is the plugin path above.

Use manual header edits only when you intentionally choose a custom installation route.
