Emails we send you
We don't spam, and we're picky about what lands in your inbox. Here's a complete list of every email Coffield.io might send you, when it sends them, and how to turn each one off if you want.
The welcome email
Subject: Welcome to Coffield.io — let's get your agent live
When: A few seconds after your subscription becomes active (whether you started with a trial or paid right away).
What's inside: A friendly hello, a 3-step setup guide (add your website, pick a greeting, paste one line of code), and a big button that takes you straight to your agent dashboard.
Why we send it: So you know exactly what to do next. Most of our customers finish setup in under 15 minutes.
Note: If you change your plan or your subscription renews, we don't send another welcome email — only the very first one.
The setup nudges (day 1, day 3, day 7)
If you signed up but your agent isn't live yet, we'll send you up to three short, friendly nudges. Each one tells you the exact next step we noticed you're stuck on.

What "ready" means: We score your agent setup (0–100). Once you cross 90 — meaning the agent has a website, a knowledge base, and the install code is live — we stop sending nudges automatically. You don't have to do anything.
No repeats: Each nudge is sent at most once per email address. If you got day 1 and then finished setup, you won't get day 3.
Cancelled or refunded? No nudges. We only nudge active and past-due subscriptions.
Order and payment emails
These are the standard receipts and notifications you'd expect from any SaaS:
- Order confirmation — Right after you check out
- Receipt / invoice — When a payment goes through
- Upcoming renewal reminder — Before your paid subscription renews (default windows: 3 days and 1 day before renewal)
- Subscription cancelled — If you (or we) cancel your subscription
- Payment failed — If your card is declined, with a link to update payment details
Renewal reminders are sent at most once per reminder window for the same billing cycle, so you won't get duplicates from routine background processing.
These are transactional emails — they always send, because they contain information you legally need (receipts, refund confirmations, billing changes). You can't opt out of these.
Team and project notifications
- Invitation to join a workspace — When a teammate invites you
- Kanban card mentions/assignments — When someone @-mentions you or assigns you a card
You can manage these from your dashboard under Account → Notification preferences.
Notifications from your AI agent
If your agent captures a lead, books a meeting, or escalates a support ticket, you'll get an email if your agent is configured to email you (you control this per-agent under AI Agents → [agent] → Notifications).
These never go to your visitors — only to you and your team.
How to stop receiving marketing emails
Every nudge has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it, and we'll immediately stop all setup nudges and other marketing emails to that address. The link is signed and only you can use it — clicking once is enough.
The welcome email and transactional emails (receipts, invoices, payment failures) will still send, because they're required for your account. If you want to fully delete your account, contact us at support@coffield.io.

If you unsubscribed and changed your mind, email support@coffield.io and we'll flip the switch in under a business day.
What if an email doesn't arrive?
- Check spam. First-time emails from us occasionally land in Promotions / Spam in Gmail. Mark us "Not spam" once and future emails go to your inbox.
- Add us to your contacts. Save
hello@coffield.ioandsupport@coffield.ioto your address book. - Still nothing? Email support@coffield.io. We can check the email logs and tell you exactly what happened — including if your provider bounced us.
Where to ask questions
- Inside the app: click the chat bubble in the corner — that's your own personal Coffield.io assistant. It can answer "what emails will I receive?" and dozens of similar setup questions.
